History: Sold as a small child to a brothel owner, Ûkshak was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. In his 17th year, while out on a day-trip, he returned to find his hometown burning and destroyed. He found his mother impaled in their home, and his father beheaded. He saw the man who walked out, and charged him in a blind rage. The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. He has gone from town to town till he finds a spot where he can set up a sustainable business.

History: She was born to loving parents in a slum to the north. She worked as a nervous Performer and found it very stressful. She's also a talented Sellsword, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

Description: This slender man stands about 3'4". He tends to wear a blue poncho over his likewise colored trousers and shirt. His hair is long and white with streaks of golden, and is pulled back with small blue clips. His beard is golden, braided, and well cared for. His face possesses mild wrinkles. His smile is extraordinarily sincere though he does not smile often.

Personality: He cares much about the opinion of others, both in good and in bad: when keeping in line with his opinion, he thinks highly of the other person, but when opinions clash, he can get violently argumentative. He has the money to obtain near anything and knows that if you pay a man enough he will sell his own mother. Money is his most trusted friend.

History: He is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. His parents divorced when he was young, and his mother gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his mother, who blamed him for driving them apart. He tends to his Crown-heir job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations he has.

Motivation: To prove his worth to the world; and wants to open a new tavern

Personality: A skeptical and narcissistic man, Balam's first love is himself. His second love is also himself. His home and work are filled with various knick knacks he has acquired through the years. He cares a great deal for his adopted teenage daughter.

History: Balam lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. When the war came and ruined his parents he was left adrift. He was a hard man then and has only learned to fight more as time goes on. He has gone from town to town till he finds a spot where he can set up a sustainable business.

Motivation: His relatives are trying to arrange a marriage; and sabotage a competitor

Personality: She is unhospitable to her core. Her small house has "No trespassing" Signs all over it. She is susceptible to being scared and is in actuality easily frightened. She likes to tell stories.

History: She was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of her parents. When the war came and ruined her parents she was left adrift. She was a hard woman then and has only learned to fight more as time goes on. She spent several years traveling with her friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.

Motivation: Doesn't want to be a Stylist and was forced into it by her family; and a need for knowledge about a nearby landmark
