History: Her father raised her in a mountain cabin. Through the years after Dagnal was born, her mother became increasingly distant from her family, instead choosing to pursue power in the north. Dagnal's mother didn't care for her much, and the feeling was mutual. After a long history of fighting, Dagnal and her spouse have recently divorced.

Motivation: Doesn't want to be a Engraver and was forced into it by her family; and find a way to reverse the transformation of her sister

He loves teas. He is very sensitive about his face. To blow off anger he lifts weights and to control his otherwise explosive temper he works out a lot.

History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. Cursed with vampirism at a very young age, Beiro has worked very hard to control his curse. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Barrister they were divorced and he won custody of their daughter. He worked as a Cartwright, and he later adopted a second daughter.
