Personality: Overbrimming with self-confidence, Bertram isn't afraid of most anything. He has a strong dislike to people who do not believe in Halfling unity. He also has developed a complete distrust of the Cook profession.

History: Bertram lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. His first spouse was a Cook, they had one daughter, but his spouse won total custody. Without his spouse to temper him he grew out of control. He has drifted from career to career and currently works as a Painter.

Motivation: He feels the way he acts is they only way to get by in the world.

Personality: She has schizophrenia that causes her to hear things that aren't there and will sometimes respond to them. To her fellows she is seen as friendly and intelligent, but is angry and unforgiving to the so called fatcats and any who do and have associated with them.

History: Meriele was born to in a poor docking district. She spent her early days working in the same smith shop her father was employed at, doing general labor. A freak accident while working with her Interpreter father left her crippled. She hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure her.
