History: He was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. Cursed with unlife at a very young age, Halander has worked very hard to control his curse. He spent several years traveling with his friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.

History: Born to a poor family in the city she treasured whatever gifts she got. When money was particularly tight she was walking through alleys when she overheard a Healer hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. She made her way to the other competitor and parlayed her knowledge into a job. She got away from her former life and has fallen to alcoholism.

To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Ahvain. He now travels the world, in search of power and loot.
