History: Trained by his mother for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. His homeland was ravaged by war and he spent much of his life rebuilding it. He is untrained/undisciplined, which makes him dangerous.

Motivation: He is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences his actions; and a rival would like him out of the picture

History: Vondal was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Paladin, to bring honor to his family’s name.
