History: A studious child she never was much for a social life, not because she was unlikable, but because she did not seek it out. She has since married many spouses, only to have them die. She claims to not be responsible.

History: She was born in a small plains village. When Ella reached her early adolescence her Human mother passed away. Feeling disconnected from the small nearby village afterwards, she decided to travel. Her rounds led her into the Army with a few individuals who would become her life-long companions. She bought a scythe and has really upped her game hunting, due to her understanding of decoy and ambush.

Personality: She is a Carter first and foremost. She believes firmly that knowledge should be universal. She is very protective of her business, her home, and her spouse. She is willing to work with less than legal methods but maintains the front of legitimacy.

History: Ilanis lived on a farm with her mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Cursed with unlife at a very young age, Ilanis has worked very hard to control her curse. She has set out to sabotage the competition.

History: He was born several months after his father was called into army service. He graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. He advanced relatively quickly due to his good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: He wants nothing more than to rejoin the army.

History: When he was but 6 years old his parents immigrated from the north. His mother had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted him to inherit them. He now mingles about in high society.
