Personality: He fancies himself a trickster and likes to rely on his wits to carry the day. He cares for his older siblings and likes to be recognized by them. He constantly seizes attention wherever he goes and has come to expect this respect from everyone. He likes to think of himself as merciful, but nonetheless is very strict.

History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. Being born in the north, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the north for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way east. He has been saving his money to try and buy his brother's freedom.

Personality: She is very quiet and rarely speaks above a whisper. She does not regard money as being a problem because it has never been a problem for her. She lives in a bit of an ivory tower believing all problems are one quick intervention away from being solved.

History: She was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. Her father worked until she suffered an accident while they were digging through a hill for a new route. She had to support her now crippled father and took her father's old job. She now mingles about in high society.

Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of her sister; and she is greedy

Personality: She is shy and timid. She has not had much interaction with people and is skittish around them. She takes great joy in being the best Brewer in town.

History: She was a bastard born out of an affair, and her mother always resented and mistreated her for it out of spite. Like her mother and her sister before her, after school she went straight into learning to become a Brewer. She's also a talented Fortune-teller, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

Personality: Aside from being a little slow due to sleep deprivation she is generally quite perceptive. She notices little details and can draw good conclusions from them. On top of that she is swayed by a pretty face, and while loyalty to her employer will always come first she doesn't like to hit women.

History: Tenena was raised in a hard working conservative environment. Ostracized due to the divine powers of her oldest brother, she and her siblings struck out on their own. In the process these unassuming Gnomes became a terror of the countryside. She became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

Motivation: Wants her loneliness to end.
