History: Korfel was born the youngest of three triplets. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He has been saving his money to try and buy his sister's freedom.

Personality: He is a very happy person and has lots of energy. To put it simply, he's a very lovable idiot. The war was a terrible time for him, and Vonbin does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.

History: Vonbin was raised in a hard working conservative environment. His homeland was ravaged by war and he spent much of his life rebuilding it. He now owns his own business.

History: Trained by his mother for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. His first spouse was a Baker, they had one son, but his spouse won total custody. Without his spouse to temper him he grew out of control. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of his brother.

History: She was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. Ostracized due to the arcane powers of her oldest brother, she and her siblings struck out on their own. In the process these unassuming Humans became a terror of the countryside. She was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching her a humbling lesson in trusting others.
