When money was particularly tight she was walking through alleys when she overheard a Bookbinder hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. She made her way to the other competitor and parlayed her knowledge into a job. When her spouse passed she lost her only source of income but claims to her daughters to still be retired.

Personality: She is mildly Halfling supremacist, though she does not identify as such. Her respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to her, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, she tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in her reactions to snap at those who irritate her, Jo is combative with any and all who dare try her patience in the slightest.

History: She was raised happily, as a normal child born to her mother and father. Her mother taught her the rudiments of the Priest arts, while her father instructed her in etiquette, music and courtly manner. As a young adult she joined a group advocating for an improvement in Halfling conditions. She has became unsatisfied with her lot in life, and decided to take up adventuring.

History: He is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. His father was very strict, and drilled into him lessons on being the perfect gentleman. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

History: Sold as a small child to a brothel owner, Holg was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. His father disappeared, and while he tried to raise money to find his father, he was betrayed dozens of times. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his daughters to still be retired.
