History: She was born on a small isolated farm. Her family was turned out during the war. She and her family wandered east to less war torn lands. She has drifted apart from her friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature axe.

Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark.

Personality: He tends to agree with only himself unless someone else's opinion sounds like he can profit from it. He tries to control his temper but he can't always stop himself from what he feels what must be done. He claims to be unscrupulous but at the end of the day he will do what he thinks is right.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his mother always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. Like his mother and his sister before him, after school he went straight into learning to become a Tanner. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: Wants to open a new tavern; and he is unsatisfied with his job

History: She was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. Through the years after Beast was born, her mother became increasingly distant from her family, instead choosing to pursue power in the west. Beast's mother didn't care for her much, and the feeling was mutual. She was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching her a humbling lesson in trusting others.

History: He is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. His family was turned out during the war. He and his family wandered south to less war torn lands. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Motivation: His spouse's relatives view him with great suspicion; and regain custody of his daughter
