History: Born in a small village she learned the ways of the warrior from her father. Her parents died when she was young, and she was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Gesrethe grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Gesrethe. She has been a successful dealer in antiques buying low and selling high.

History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. He has chosen to use the inheritance that was left to him frivolously. He left for the north, certain he would find work there.

History: She was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. She was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. Her spouse died of illness and she inherited everything. She has built up a small fortune and can afford her own way.

Personality: She barks her statements quickly and with little fuss. She prefers small words and is at her heart utilitarian. Her brief stint in the army gave her the idea she was invincible and that she is the toughest woman alive.

History: She was born in the east. At a young age both her parents were killed in an accident. Her uncle (a powerful person with enemies on both sides of the law) took her in and had her trained in basic self defense. Recently she has begun working with bootleggers and crooks.

History: Her martial talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, her parents had her trained. She was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. She never won. Some 5 years later her spouse died after the birth of her son. Heartbroken, Left-Handed never married again. Instead she focused her life to raising her son whom she trained as her father had trained her before.
