Personality: He is a Miller first and foremost. He believes firmly that knowledge should be universal. He is terrible with names forgetting people's names several times before they finally stick; this causes him no end of embarrassment.

History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. He was an apprentice working in his father's forge. Unlike his family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, he wanted to work in the city. He has been working here for the past few years.

Motivation: Balancing his hectic life and new Miller responsibilities is difficult; and he seems to be bored by most things

Description: A middle-aged man, he wears a shirt that is too small, which lets his gut show, with a ratty grey coat over it, and is pretty ugly. He has wavy red hair. His eyes are a pleasant violet.

Personality: He has schizophrenia that causes him to hear things that aren't there and will sometimes respond to them. Elaim is a bit of a follower. Usually he is manipulated by his brothers into helping them out, but recently he has become more of a free agent.

History: Elaim was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Ranger, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Ranger in service of a powerful lord somewhere. From there he went from mercenary job to mercenary job. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of his brother; and meet up once more with his childhood friend

Description: She is in excellent shape and wears an amalgamation of clothes and depending on the season will wear more layers of the continuing hodge podge. She wears her brown hair up. She is missing an eye and her face is severely sunburned. Her one remaining eye shines hazel.

Personality: Always inclined to offer people food she seems plenty friendly. She is ready at a moment's notice to give into her darker urges. She is a real pyromaniac and does not care who the fire hurts. She often ends up burning people alive in the fires she starts.

History: Her parents moved while she was still in utero so she is the first generation to be born here. In her youth she was part of a gang. She got caught, but did not rat out her comrades and served her time in prison. She is untrained/undisciplined, which makes her dangerous.

Motivation: She has comitted a past crime that haunts her to this day.

Description: This late middle aged man wears tight fitting clothing which further accentuates his frame and is in decent physical shape. His black hair is knotted and matted. He is very pretty but has cold, dead eyes.

Personality: He is inclined to make off color jokes and interpret anything that could be construed as such as innuendo. He is often prim and proper but will on occasion tell either really disgusting or offensive jokes, which seem out of character.

History: He was born in the west. His family was turned out during the war. He and his family wandered west to less war torn lands. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark; and several ex partners dislike his way of doing things and want revenge
