She was forced to fight in gladiatorial arenas alongside her partner. They became the best of friends and one day they managed to break out together and then went their separate ways.

Personality: Cocky and sure of herself, she believes she is the best Map Maker born in the past three hundred years. Her philosophy is that everyone needs a friend and as such shows hospitality towards all.

History: Her parents moved while she was still in utero so she is the first generation to be born here. She inherited a moderately successful company from her father. Under her leadership it has flourished, and using capital from her venture she effectively owns an entire region. She has achieved small success as a Map Maker.

History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Shamash was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. He worked as a nervous Roofer and found it very stressful. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to dire rats demanding more tribute than usual.
