Description: This man stands a little under 4'9" and is a bit bulky. He is very muscular particularly in the legs. He wears loose pants and a collared shirt complete with sweater beneath his coat. He has a long auburn beard with little hanging trinkets. His fair skin shows little sign of his aristocratic breeding.

Personality: He is enamored with his job. He loves it. He likes the challenge and he likes helping those less fortunate than him. He is lazy, self-centered, vain, and jealous.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his mother always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. He was taken from his home at a very young age. He has drifted from career to career and currently works as a Ruler.

Description: He is of a modest build and height, but he carries himself more imposing than he is. He wears tight fitting clothing which further accentuates his frame. He wears a broad hat to cover his moderate length golden hair. His face is covered beneath a completely black helmet.

Personality: He hates giants. He views them as having robbed his home of its proper glory. He will pursue extreme courses of action in the short term, confident that they cannot fail.

History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. His mother was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his mother was legitimate. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to giants demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: To prove his worth to the world.

Description: He wears a black shirt, with a red mid length shorts with red tights and flats, usually wearing a coat over them, and he perpetually has his quarterstaff ready. His dark red hair is braided into rings. His fierce silver eyes like to dwell on things.

Personality: He has two modes he varies between. On the job he is cold, steely and emotionless. Off the job he is a party animal. On top of that he is swayed by a pretty face, and while loyalty to his employer will always come first he doesn't like to hit women.

History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his father. He was a friend to animals and a trickster. In his defense of animals however he would do severe harm to people. He has gone from town to town working and never settling down anywhere, but has fallen for a local Bricklayer. He hasn't told them the truth, but wants to settle down with them.

Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark; and wants a kiss

Description: A well shaped woman just over fifty, she prefers to wear the grand gowns of high society. She carries her fan with her everywhere and carries herself as the perfect lady. With bright brown hair. Her half smiles and green eyes are beguiling and draw you in.

Personality: Aside from being a little slow due to sleep deprivation she is generally quite perceptive. She notices little details and can draw good conclusions from them. She is however greedy and will demand payment and proof of collateral's value and will produce a merchant's scale to make sure she is not cheated out of a speck.

History: She was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. She found a children's book about a Human Adept who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. She modeled her life after the story, seeing herself destined a hero. She has dedicated herself to building a better village for her children.

Motivation: She's looking for her big break.

Personality: She is very quiet and rarely speaks above a whisper. She lacks restraint and is impulsive. She jumps in and acts without thinking all too often.

History: She comes from a rich southern family. Her father had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted her to inherit them. She now mingles about in high society.

Motivation: She has money and likes to spend it; and to prove her worth to the world
