Description: He wears a shirt that is too small, which lets his gut show, with a ratty green coat over it, and he perpetually has his shield ready. His small hat is riddled with cuts and holes. His silver eyes have a joyful gleam in them most of the time.

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Xappan embodies much of what other species detest in the Tieflings. He has a taste for the finer things and spends a great deal of money on luxuries, some more exotic than others.

History: His martial talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, his parents had him trained. His father had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted him to inherit them. Recently a tribe of brigands attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Xappan fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Motivation: He's repulsed by the PC; and to fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever

Description: This man is bedraggled and starved. He wears skinny pants and wears a brown and tan robe with the hood down. His head has been shaved. His ears are large.

Personality: He is a man who does what he needs to. He will acquiesce to black mail and extortion to avoid trouble. He constantly seizes attention wherever he goes and has come to expect this respect from everyone. He likes to think of himself as merciful, but nonetheless is very strict.

History: He was born to loving parents in a slum to the west. In his youth he was part of a gang. He got caught, but did not rat out his comrades and served his time in prison. He would ruin relationships and cause injury. He was reprimanded several times before being given his current form and forced to learn humility.

Motivation: He is a bit of a kleptomaniac; and a rival would like him out of the picture

Description: With black face paint in a stripe pattern across her face, she dresses well, typically a more casual-formal manner. She has shaved her head bald. Her face possesses mild wrinkles. Her smile is extraordinarily sincere though she does not smile often.

Personality: She takes her job very seriously, in part because she fears she cannot get a new one. On top of that she is swayed by a pretty face, and while loyalty to her employer will always come first she doesn't like to hit women.

History: Merla was born with her mother's beautiful face. She worked as a nervous Beggar and found it very stressful. She has drifted apart from her friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature shortspear.

Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark.

Description: A moderately attractive woman, she wears a weathered and beat up set of banded mail beneath an oversized pastel coat. Her fur is cinnamon and curly. Her eyes are hazel.

Personality: She cares much about the opinion of others, both in good and in bad: when keeping in line with her opinion, she thinks highly of the other person, but when opinions clash, she can get violently argumentative. Her temper goes off on the smallest of things. She tends to lash out at those around her.

History: From birth she was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. Her parents divorced when she was young, and her mother gained full cudstody. She was regularly beaten by her mother, who blamed her for driving them apart. She was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching her a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Motivation: She's repulsed by the PC; and she feels kind of lost in life

Description: A moderately attractive woman, she wears silk and lounges about seductively. She wears her hair in dreadlocks. Her face is full, her cheeks are rosy, and she always seems to sport a perfect smile and a twinkle in her gray eyes.

Personality: She tends to agree with only herself unless someone else's opinion sounds like she can profit from it. She tries to control her temper but she can't always stop herself from what she feels what must be done. She loves teas. She is very sensitive about her face. To blow off anger she lifts weights and to control her otherwise explosive temper she works out a lot.

History: Heir to a fortune, her parents put a great deal of effort into curing her disease. A freak accident while working with her Sage mother left her crippled. She has built up a small fortune and can afford her own way.

Motivation: She has money and likes to spend it.
