History: Varis hails from a village terrorized by dire rats. His parents were killed by dire rats in a raid when he was still a young child. The dire rats captured him, and made him a slave and general play-thing. He was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to his deformed appearance. He now mingles about in high society.

History: Nim was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his father was employed at, doing general labor. From his teen years he was always beautiful and desirable, so people have always doted on him. He inherited the family business which he has now maintained for 13 years.

Personality: A rambunctious noisy drunk he knows how to make people feel guilty. He is obsessed with a lost civilization.

History: He was born with several neurological imbalances, which makes sleep difficult for him. It may also be what makes him so good at details. Broce abandoned his home at a very young age, living in the fields and plains. He survived everyday through hunting and stealing from passersby. He did whatever it took for him to survive. He now travels the world, in search of power and loot.
