History: She was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. Her parents died when she was young, and she was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Brakka grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Brakka. She has since lost track of the people in her past.

Personality: Eccentric and domineering, Nicholas will drive conversation. He has zero loyalty and will suck up to whomever is within range, in the hopes of being moved to a better position.

History: A powerful wizard made him what he is. He found a children's book about a Human Sorcerer who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. He became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

Motivation: Meet up once more with his childhood friend; and he desires power and/or immortality

History: She was born to a criminal king-pin and mafia family She became part of the deadliest team of assassins in recent memory. A botched job caused the group to be disbanded. She moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: She has comitted a past crime that haunts her to this day; and she wants revenge against orcs

Personality: While he is on the job, he is grim and serious. He understands how dangerous the world is and the need to stay safe. He tends to be very friendly, and is drawn to music, the smells of food and wine, and out-door festivals.

History: Born in the east his family was never financially stable. Ostracized due to the arcane powers of his oldest brother, he and his siblings struck out on their own. In the process these unassuming Half-Elves became a terror of the countryside. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

Personality: She is a hateful person. She taunts others and blames them for her problems. She is a bit of a macho woman and will challenge people to random contests of strength and skill, and invite them to random hunting and fishing trip.

History: Born to a Mason, her father struggled to pay the bills. Her spouse left her for another, whom she beat to an almost bloody pulp. She did not win them back, but she came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. She has gone from town to town working and never settling down anywhere, but has fallen for a local Mason. She hasn't told them the truth, but wants to settle down with them.
