Description: A hulking man with gigantic muscles, he wears brown robes with leather pauldrons. Though occasionally he wears more armor. He prefers to carry a pickaxe, but if one is not available he will default to his warhammer. His fur is brown and curly. His eyes are likewise yellow.

Personality: Aside from being a little slow due to sleep deprivation he is generally quite perceptive. He notices little details and can draw good conclusions from them. He is an amazing painter.

History: Serpent was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Fighter, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Fighter in service of a powerful lord somewhere. His arcane abilities were realized during a raid on his village. He is searching for what he claims is his rightful reward.

Description: This man is very fat, and does not wear sleeves and tends to eschew shirts when he can avoid it. His auburn hair is kept up in a ponytail inside a broad hat. His eyes are a pleasant green.

Personality: He cares much about the opinion of others, both in good and in bad: when keeping in line with his opinion, he thinks highly of the other person, but when opinions clash, he can get violently argumentative. He uses divination through singing.

History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. He always admired martial-users and wanted to develop the talent, but never had the affinity for it. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: Retire the richest man in the north; and meet up once more with his childhood friend

Description: With black face paint in a stripe pattern across her face, she wears suspenders and blue workpants. Her shirt is grey, and she wears a heavy blue leather apron most of the time. She has dyed her greying silver hair a little too much giving a sharp silver color. She is missing an eye and her face is severely sunburned. Her one remaining eye shines blue.

Personality: She seems absolutely devoid of it. She stares off into space and will respond with overly literal and minimalist answers to questions. She pushes her goals aggressively. She is also a coward if confronted.

History: Her parents moved while she was still in utero so she is the first generation to be born here. She was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. She never won. Unlike her family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, she wanted to work in the city. She has been working here for the past few years.

Motivation: To find somewhere to settle down.

Description: She wears an entirely grey suit with yellow socks and a vest with buckled shoes. Her black hair is still thick. She has violet eyes and a grey hat with a yellow feather.

Personality: She is fixated on the number 48. She counts her steps and bites of food to keep in track with it. She seems to be used to being ignored and not questioned about it. She is however nostalgic and wants to reunite with her old comrades. She has some compunction and patriotism and will work for the government before all other clients.

History: A child with a great deal of dancing talent her parents made sure she got the chance to thrive. From there she went from mercenary job to mercenary job. She has since married many spouses, only to have them die. She claims to not be responsible.

Motivation: She desires power and/or immortality; and she is wracked by social anxiety

Description: She is of a modest build and height, but she carries herself more imposing than she is. She wears just a black suit. Her long dark red hair is drawn into a two foot long braid. This red eyed northerner is not easily forgotten.

Personality: She is unhospitable to her core. Her small house has "No trespassing" Signs all over it. She is cautious and jumpy. She reacts to every sound and lacks any concept of subtlety.

History: She was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. She was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. Her spouse died of illness and she inherited everything. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.

Motivation: She has a crush on the local Spy; and she wants to get laid
