History: Bryseis was born into a poor family. Growing up, she dreamt of becoming a Rogue, to bring honor to her family’s name. When she came of age, she applied for a position with her town's local guard, looking to work her way up via merit and eventually become a Rogue in service of a powerful lord somewhere. She dropped out of school before completing her studies. She was granted necromantic powers by her dying brother.

Personality: She is overprotective of those who hire her services. River is a bit of a follower. Usually she is manipulated by her sisters into helping them out, but recently she has become more of a free agent.

History: She was born with several neurological imbalances, which makes sleep difficult for her. It may also be what makes her so good at details. She was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. Her spouse died of illness and she inherited everything. She eventually got the idea of being the protector of her homeland from reading books, and has made it her duty.
