History: Gennal hails from a village terrorized by dire rats. As a young child he wandered into the woods despite his mother's warnings against it. Afterwards he claimed he had encountered dire rats who tried to eat his hand. He ran away from his former home and has been making his living as a Scribe for the past few years.

History: He is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. He leaves a trail of broken hearts and full pockets wherever he goes.

History: A child with a great deal of poetry talent her parents made sure she got the chance to thrive. At a young age both her parents were killed in an accident. Her uncle (a powerful person with enemies on both sides of the law) took her in and had her trained in basic self defense. She has been saving her money to try and buy her brother's freedom.
