Personality: He trusts no one. He is not readily capable for forgiveness and his ire never leaves him. He has a small toy that he constantly fidgets with.

History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. His family was turned out during the war. He and his family wandered west to less war torn lands. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Motivation: He wants nothing more than to rejoin the army.

Personality: She does not believe in betrayal or weakness as things to be tolerated. Despite her manner, she is extremely passionate and proud of her job, and she prides herself in being thorough and never missing a detail.

History: She was always a brilliant, if unscrupulous mind. From her teen years she was always beautiful and desirable, so people have always doted on her. She now owns her own business.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Trail grew up listening to her mother's many stories. Brilliant and gifted she never wanted to apply herself. She was granted arcane powers by her dying brother.

His hair, while still mostly brown, has prominent grey streaks. He has a very pronounced jaw and large eyebrows. He wears rectangular glasses with silver brims.

Personality: He is not truly malevolent, but he is obsessed with writing. He constantly tries to fill his life with writing. He is used to getting what he wants. In part because he is a meticulous planner.

History: He was raised by priests from a young age. He moved from fad to fad and when he turned 15 he discovered writing. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

Motivation: Money/treasure; and he has a rivalry with the church that dominates his actions
