She modeled her life after the story, seeing herself destined a hero. She has achieved small success as a Tanner.

Description: A woman with a friendly, welcoming air about her, she wears rags and sports a simple walking cane. Her golden hair is singed and shortened. She wears large thick round spectacles.

Personality: Her voice, at times compared to that of a Nymph, lambasts those who consider themselves "civilized" with snide, belittling remarks; the subtle growl she speaks with growing louder in doing so, one can find it most pronounced, despite the otherwise natural purity of her tone. She is a bit of a xeno-phobe, disliking non-Halflings.

History: She was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. She was an apprentice working in her father's forge. She has gone from town to town till she finds a spot where she can set up a sustainable business.

Motivation: Expand her business; and a strong sense of loyalty to dwarven people

Personality: She speaks before she thinks and is too direct. Around other people she will do her best to conceal her emotions and appear jolly.

History: Sarah lived on a farm with her father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. A gypsy cursed her at a young age, leading to her ugly appearance. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.

Motivation: She has money and likes to spend it.

Description: A man with thick toned arms and a paunchy gut. He wears a black shirt, with a red mid length shorts with red tights and flats, usually wearing a coat over them. He wears his hair in dreadlocks. He is missing an eye and his face is severely sunburned. His one remaining eye shines blue.

Personality: He dislikes all the random violence that takes place in the east. He dislikes loud distracting noises, but is overall hospitable. His biggest love is that of knowledge and as such will purchase any books or pay to listen to tales that travelers might have.

History: His history is one of pain. He was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves his parents kept. He was taken from his home at a very young age. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: Wants to work out more often; and to share knowledge with the world

Description: A woman with a calm yet intense air about her, she is well dressed, constantly wearing a grey suit, tan shirt, and brown tie. She has shaved her head bald. Judging by the bloodshot nature of her eyes and the massive bags underneath them one would imagine she has not slept for days.

Personality: She likes to brag about her accomplishments and constantly tries to beat others to the punch. She is often prim and proper but will on occasion tell either really disgusting or offensive jokes, which seem out of character.

History: Her parents moved while she was still in utero so she is the first generation to be born here. Being born in the west, she completed her medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. She returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. She was a general practitioner in the west for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way north. She has since lost track of the people in her past.
