He found a children's book about a Halfling Commoner who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. He has became unsatisfied with his lot in life, and decided to take up adventuring.

History: She grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. Her parents divorced when she was young, and her father gained full cudstody. She was regularly beaten by her father, who blamed her for driving them apart. Unlike her family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, she wanted to work in the city. She has been working here for the past few years.

Motivation: She has a rivalry with the Church that dominates her actions; and she is compelled to act according to her religious beliefs

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his father always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. His homeland was ravaged by war and he spent much of his life rebuilding it. He tends to his Crown-heir job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations he has.

Motivation: He'd like to take his coworkers down a peg; and balancing his hectic life and new crown-heir responsibilities is difficult
