History: The child of a Assassin, who enjoyed hunting, Oriff was taken on many hunting expeditions. Being born in the south, she completed her medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. She returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. She was a general practitioner in the south for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way north. Due to her spouse's obsession with being a Assassin they were divorced and she won custody of their daughter. She worked as a Butcher, and she later adopted a second daughter.

History: He grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. At a young age both his parents were killed in an accident. His uncle (a powerful person with enemies on both sides of the law) took him in and had him trained in basic self defense. Being a Sage kept his interest for a while, but then he became depressed and bored. So he turned to a secret life of crime, taking increasingly more risks and challenges.

History: Heir to a fortune, his parents put a great deal of effort into curing his disease. In his 17th year, his parents were killed by a brigands raid, leaving Paelias alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He now mingles about in high society.

Motivation: A deep hatred of brigands; and many brigands want him driven away

Personality: She exudes charisma. She is a tour de force of persuasion. She is always in debt, since she spends her money on lavish parties and gifts for friends

History: Her history is one of pain. She was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves her parents kept. She took every job she could get her hands on, but the opportunities for Tabaxis in the east were limited. She left for the east, certain she would find work there.

Motivation: She is currently in port desperately looking for someone to get her out; and to prove her worth to the world
