He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Tiefling companion (his 'brother'). Lacking all sense, he decided to go on an adventure. He picked a direction and started trekking.

History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. His mother was a soldier and died while he was still young. Nim was left his mother's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

History: She was a bastard born out of an affair, and her father always resented and mistreated her for it out of spite. When money was particularly tight she was walking through alleys when she overheard a Baker hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. She made her way to the other competitor and parlayed her knowledge into a job. She was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching her a humbling lesson in trusting others.
