When money was particularly tight she was walking through alleys when she overheard a Bowyer hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. She made her way to the other competitor and parlayed her knowledge into a job. She became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

Days after completing her studies, news broke out that her hometown was attacked by brigands. Synthrin was horrified and prayed that her father was alright. However, she heard that her father had died fighting off the brigands.
