History: A powerful slaver made him what he is. While studying, he fell in love. They married and had a daughter. Since then, he has sought to make the best of life.

History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Sarai embodies much of what other species detest in the Halflings. She seeks to pay back kindness whenever she gets the chance. Whether it be in the form of unwanted serenades or the latest gossip she always seeks to do solids for her friends.

History: Born in the north to a Knight, Sarai learned a great deal about her father's area of expertise. Through the years after Sarai was born, her father became increasingly distant from her family, instead choosing to pursue power in the north. Sarai's father didn't care for her much, and the feeling was mutual. She has built up a small fortune and can afford her own way.

Personality: She resents people who mock her appearance or her, so she has learned to be the meanest son of a gun. She also is a firm believer in the womanly ideal.

History: Emma was born in the west. At a young age she loved to build and create. Her spouse left her for another, whom she beat to an almost bloody pulp. She did not win them back, but she came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. One night she noticed a nearby shooting star which she hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. She has done her darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

Motivation: She wants revenge against gnolls; and to fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever
