History: A studious child she never was much for a social life, not because she was unlikable, but because she did not seek it out. Cursed with a spirit at a very young age, Whurdred has worked very hard to control her curse. She was granted divine powers by her dying brother.

Her shirts and pants tend to be short and undersized for her due to the difficulty of finding a good tailor. Her fur is short and yellow. She is missing an eye and her face is severely sunburned. Personality: She hates dire rats. She views them as having robbed her home of its proper glory. She will do just about anything if she becomes convinced it is for someone's true love, of this she is easily convinced.

History: Shifting hails from a village terrorized by dire rats. Her parents were killed by dire rats in a raid when she was still a young child. The dire rats captured her, and made her a slave and general play-thing. She was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to her deformed appearance. Recently a tribe of dire rats attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Shifting fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.
