Personality: She is business-like. She takes instructions and follows them to the letter. A fanatic, her devotion to her small selection of gods is unquestionable. She claims to be doing their will and will base all her actions on whether or not they would be pleasing to the gods.

History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Helgret was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. She was taken from her home at a very young age. She routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Motivation: She is compelled to act according to her religious beliefs; and she has a rivalry with the church that dominates her actions

Personality: A skeptical and narcissistic woman, Ilga's first love is herself. Her second love is also herself. Her respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to her, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, she tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in her reactions to snap at those who irritate her, Ilga is combative with any and all who dare try her patience in the slightest.

History: She was born in the east. In her youth she was part of a gang. She got caught, but did not rat out her comrades and served her time in prison. She left for the east, certain she would find work there.

Motivation: Sabotage a competitor; and she is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences her actions

Personality: Soft-spoken and well mannered, he has an amazing amount of patience and a slow boiling temper. The war was a terrible time for him, and Anselm does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.

History: He grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. He helped his father out around the business and became quite the natural. He has worked as a Shoemaker like his father before him.

Personality: She is envious of other's things. She hoards treasure, art, food, wine, and anything that she so desires. She has no love for corruption and racketeering and views those as crimes of the highest magnitude.

History: A powerful wizard made her what she is. She took every job she could get her hands on, but the opportunities for Gnomes in the west were limited. She moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.
