History: He was born in the east, but his parents moved at a very young age to the north. She was a general practitioner in the west for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way south. She became a Soapmaker soon after.

History: Pearl was born to in a poor docking district. She spent her early days working in the same smith shop her father was employed at, doing general labor. A freak accident while working with her Crown-heir father left her crippled. During her travels, Pearl and her party rested in a cavern that was (unknown to them) infused with powerful dark magic. Upon awakening, Pearl discovered the rest of her party dead, transformed into horrible, mindless undead versions of their former selves. Pearl fled the cavern, stopping for breath at a small pool, and only then realizing her own horrible transformation.

Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by orcs. Gilbert was horrified and prayed that his mother was alright. However, he heard that his mother had died fighting off the orcs.
