Description: This petite short man is perpetually holding a beer of some kind. He wears suspenders and grey workpants. His shirt is white, and he wears a heavy grey leather apron most of the time, marred by beers. He has a very tight haircut. His gray eyes show the wear and tear of someone lonely with a great burden to carry.

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Rurik embodies much of what other species detest in the Dwarves. He is lazy and tries to find solutions quickly.

History: He was raised in a plains tribe. Rurik was born on a far southern plains where he grew up under the tutelage of his mother, an expert Ploughman. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Description: Standing 5'1", this man tends to wear a yellow poncho over his likewise colored trousers and shirt. His moppish black hair is in a traditional bowl cut. His brown eyes are slightly larger than normal.

Personality: Quiet and reserved he prefers to listen than to talk. He will nod occasionally and communicate nonverbally. Despite his manner, he is extremely passionate and proud of his job, and he prides himself in being thorough and never missing a detail.

History: Born to a Tailor, his father struggled to pay the bills. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Mortician hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He became a Mortician soon after.

Motivation: Further expansion of business; and to unite with his brother

Description: He is constantly adorned with expensive silk clothing, often dyed in bright red and violet, and wears rings and necklaces with large, colorful gems. He has a slight overbite and is overall scrawny. He has no hair. His eyes are green.

Personality: He can speak with the recently deceased. He will do just about anything if he becomes convinced it is for someone's true love, of this he is easily convinced.

History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. His homeland was ravaged by war and he spent much of his life rebuilding it. He now mingles about in high society.

Motivation: To end his boredom; and money/treasure

Description: This western man's face is deformed and paralyzed on one side. As such, he slurs his words together. He likes to wear ponchos typically of a light brown in addition to tight pants. His long brown hair reaches down to his waist. His green eyes show the wear and tear of someone lonely with a great burden to carry.

Personality: He is a very happy person and has lots of energy. To put it simply, he's a very lovable idiot. His brief stint in the army gave him the idea he was invincible and that he is the toughest man alive.

History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. Like his father and his sister before him, after school he went straight into learning to become a Painter. He now spends his time doing works of charity.

Motivation: To find somewhere to settle down; and he seems to be bored by most things

Personality: While she is on the job, she is grim and serious. She understands how dangerous the world is and the need to stay safe. She misses her home and complains about the freezing weather, even in summer.

History: She was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. Her necromantic abilities were realized during a raid on her village. Being a Engraver kept her interest for a while, but then she became depressed and bored. So she turned to a secret life of crime, taking increasingly more risks and challenges.

Motivation: She feels that her past leaves her morally obligated to help; and she is a bit of a kleptomaniac
