History: From birth he was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. A freak accident while working with his Crown-heir father left him crippled. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

History: She was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. Brilliant and gifted she never wanted to apply herself. She has drifted apart from her friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature mace.
