History: Vassago was raised in a hard working conservative environment. A serious injury left his father unemployed and in need of constant care. His family became saddled with debt trying to care for his infirm father. Recently a tribe of gnolls attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Vassago fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Personality: He shows great sympathy to all travelers. He's the type to buy drinks and listen to their stories. He is able to make almost anything out of random pieces of junk.

History: Nicholas was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Paladin, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Paladin in service of a powerful lord somewhere. He was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. He became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

Personality: She likes to brag about her accomplishments and constantly tries to beat others to the punch. When she's not drinking or sleeping the drinks off, she's doing painting.

History: She was born with several neurological imbalances, which makes sleep difficult for her. It may also be what makes her so good at details. Cursed with a spirit at a very young age, Emeny has worked very hard to control her curse. She has never given up on her painting dream.

Motivation: To get a good night's sleep; and to pay off her debts

Personality: She never swears and excessively uses polite adverbs when speaking. She is susceptible to being scared and is in actuality easily frightened. She likes to tell stories.

History: Naamah was born with her mother's beautiful face. From her teen years she was always beautiful and desirable, so people have always doted on her. Recently a tribe of dire rats attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Naamah fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Personality: She dislikes all the random violence that takes place in the south. She will often invite strangers home for dinner and talk their ears off. She cares deeply for her spouse and does her best to make sure her guests look presentable.

History: She served in the navy to pay for her family's outstanding loans. Her mother had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted her to inherit them. She has since married many spouses, only to have them die. She claims to not be responsible.

Motivation: She wants nothing more than to rejoin the army; and wishes to resurrect an old love
