History: When he was but 4 years old his parents immigrated from the north. Aside from being a slave or a gladiator, there isn't much legitimate work for Gnomes in Alston's homeland. Alston decided to take the middle way and become a bodyguard. He left for the north, certain he would find work there.

His long rusty crest is drawn into a two foot long braid. His gold eyes lackadaisically let the world flow into them.

Personality: He is fixated on the number 4. He counts his steps and bites of food to keep in track with it. He seems to be used to being ignored and not questioned about it. He has a hair trigger and will fly into rage over the tiniest perceived slights.

History: He was born into a rich family. He graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. He advanced relatively quickly due to his good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. He is untrained/undisciplined, which makes him dangerous.

Motivation: He has money and likes to spend it; and he is not mentally stable, and does not behave rationally

History: Thea was raised in a hard working conservative environment. Being born in the south, she completed her medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. She returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. She was a general practitioner in the south for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way north. She now spends her time doing works of charity.
