Personality: He is business-like. He takes instructions and follows them to the letter. His brief stint in the army gave him the idea he was invincible and that he is the toughest man alive.

History: He was born several months after his mother was called into army service. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Miller. Recently a tribe of giants attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Ratlûg fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

History: She was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. She was taken as a slave by a traveling circus and forced to perform She has worked as a Crown-heir like her mother before her.

Description: He stands about 2'11" and wears tattered old clothes. His left hand appears badly burned and disfigured. He keeps his long blonde hair kept up in a rat tail. His hazel eyes are desperate and heavily dilated. He has the appearance of someone under the heavy influence of drugs.

Personality: He is erratic and paranoid. He believes orcs are coming to abduct people. He is terrible with names forgetting people's names several times before they finally stick; this causes him no end of embarrassment.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. His parents were killed by orcs in a raid when he was still a young child. The orcs captured him, and made him a slave and general play-thing. He was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to his deformed appearance. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to orcs demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by orcs, and he desires to right it; and someone believes him a fraud
