She was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching her a humbling lesson in trusting others.

History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. He took every job he could get his hands on, but the opportunities for Gnomes in the south were limited. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Personality: She never swears and excessively uses polite adverbs when speaking. She is a font of random trivia from the lore and stories she has discovered

History: She was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. She sought a place where she would be rewarded solely on the merits of her skills. This search led her directly into Ruler work with an outfit from a few towns over. Ruler work suited her well, and with each successful project, she earned more gold and more respect from her peers. She has gone from town to town till she finds a spot where she can set up a sustainable business.
