History: Barakas lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Being born in the south, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the south for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way north. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Personality: He takes his job very seriously, in part because he fears he cannot get a new one. Further he is a bit of a stoner and is frequently out of it.

History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Aust was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. He has gone from town to town till he finds a spot where he can set up a sustainable business.

Personality: She is a pretentious jerk insisting that modern society is full of problems and should revert to a simpler time. Her respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to her, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, she tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in her reactions to snap at those who irritate her, Dynamic is combative with any and all who dare try her patience in the slightest.

History: A powerful wizard made her what she is. She has had some formal painting training, and achieved minor success. After a long history of fighting, Dynamic and her spouse have recently divorced.

Motivation: Marry her sister to traveling adventurers.

Her fierce blue eyes like to dwell on things.

Personality: Mumpena hangs on like a leech to those who appreciate her. It was this clingy personality that held back her dancing career. She tends to be very friendly, and is drawn to music, the smells of food and wine, and out-door festivals.

History: She was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of her parents. She has had some formal dancing training, and achieved minor success. Since then, she has sought to make the best of life.

Motivation: Wants to have a good time and be beloved; and wants to work out more often
