Personality: He speaks before he thinks and is too direct. He is terrible with names forgetting people's names several times before they finally stick; this causes him no end of embarrassment.

History: Lance was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Adept, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Adept in service of a powerful lord somewhere. He found a children's book about a Half-Elf Adept who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature scythe.

She has gone from town to town till she finds a spot where she can set up a sustainable business.

Motivation: She made a deal with a demon which lead to her current lot in life, and she's becoming increasingly nervous about it; and balancing her hectic life and new dyer responsibilities is difficult
