Personality: Gunter wants to be seen as a stoic, levelheaded, noble Barbarian, so he tries to act the part. He does a good job, for the most part... History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when illithids swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. He went to a religious school and was inspired by the priests there in charitable deeds. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to illithids demanding more tribute than usual.

History: She was a bastard born out of an affair, and her father always resented and mistreated her for it out of spite. Her parents divorced when she was young, and her father gained full cudstody. She was regularly beaten by her father, who blamed her for driving them apart. She has became unsatisfied with her lot in life, and decided to take up adventuring.

Motivation: She made a deal with a demon which lead to her current lot in life, and she's becoming increasingly nervous about it; and she has passion for adventuring and risk
