He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his sons to still be retired.

She couldn't stand her childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with her mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. After a long history of fighting, Avelina and her spouse have recently divorced.
