History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. Since his mother passed away years ago, his father had doted on him, and he came to think her himself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by his attractiveness, a trait in which he easily excels the other men of his town. Unlike his family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, he wanted to work in the city. He has been working here for the past few years.

Description: This northern woman very much looks the part of a Guard. Her clothes are grease stained in places. She keeps her black crest in a pixie cut. Her eyes are likewise gold. Her teeth are yellowed and unaligned.

Personality: She is almost excessively polite to everyone, even when angry. She also has developed a complete distrust of the Painter profession.

History: The child of northern immigrants she idolized her mother. She sought a place where she would be rewarded solely on the merits of her skills. This search led her directly into Guard work with an outfit from a few towns over. Guard work suited her well, and with each successful project, she earned more gold and more respect from her peers. She has gone from town to town till she finds a spot where she can set up a sustainable business.

Motivation: Further expansion of business; and sabotage a competitor

Description: He wears very tight pants and wife beaters, though occasionally he sports a brown coat, but does not cut a very imposing figure. He walks with a slouch but will stand straight to his full 6'3" when asserting himself. His red hair is smooth and relatively long. His skin is flawless and his hazel eyes scan people very quickly.

Personality: He is quite gentle and does not know the full extent of his strength. He works very hard to maintain that gentleness. He loves his children and doesn't want them to worry about him. He loves to share his poetry with anyone who is interested.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious northern family, he was no stranger to responsibility. Being born in the north, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the north for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way south. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Doctor they were divorced and he won custody of their daughter. He worked as a Soapmaker, and he later adopted a second daughter.

Motivation: Doesn't want to be a Soapmaker and was forced into it by his family; and wants to raise his children well

Description: This northern woman's face is deformed and paralyzed on one side. As such, she slurs her words together. She wears a tan vest and prefers black and brown shirts. Her boots appear to have been at one point steel toed but are quite worn down. She has done her best to style her silver hair to look like a famous performer. Her hazel eyes are desperate and heavily dilated. She has the appearance of someone under the heavy influence of drugs.

Personality: She is quiet and unassuming. She ignores others and carries on with her job unassumingly. She disdains her fellow northerners, claiming they make her look unintelligent just for using an accent.

History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Loopmottin was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. She worked as a nervous Priest and found it very stressful. She has drifted from career to career and currently works as a Priest.

Motivation: To be a Soapmaker again.

Description: A pudgy woman standing about 3'2" has a big stupid grin on her face most of the time. She usually wears her white robe and has her quarterstaff always slung over her shoulder. Her hair is short and brown. She has a dull look in her gray eyes.

Personality: She is unhospitable to her core. Her small house has "No trespassing" Signs all over it. She is always in debt, since she spends her money on lavish parties and gifts for friends

History: She comes from a rich eastern family. Her father disappeared, and while she tried to raise money to find her father, she was betrayed dozens of times. She now mingles about in high society.

Motivation: She's in love; and to unite with her sister
