Personality: She is calm most of the time but flees social interaction. She is cautious and jumpy. She reacts to every sound and lacks any concept of subtlety.

History: Alain was raised in a hard working conservative environment. She was an apprentice working in her father's forge. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to goblins demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: Someone believes her a fraud.

Description: She is a small woman, but exceptionally fit. She wears an entirely brown suit with violet socks and a vest with buckled shoes. Her golden hair is greying along the sides and has receded to reveal a widow's peak. She was beautiful and young once, which still shows through her age, but it is a faded beauty.

Personality: She is a very philanthropic person; she spends her free time working at various soup kitchens. She is terrible with names forgetting people's names several times before they finally stick; this causes her no end of embarrassment.

History: She was raised happily, as a normal child born to her mother and father. Her mother taught her the rudiments of the Seamstress arts, while her father instructed her in etiquette, music and courtly manner. From her teen years she was always beautiful and desirable, so people have always doted on her. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.

Personality: He is always cheerful, even with a hangover, and is always willing to go through all sorts of trouble to help his friends. He considers everything a fun event and doesn't hold grudges. He passes on several rewards to people in need. He makes a point to leave places better than he found them.

History: Born in the east to a Sailor, Vassago learned a great deal about his father's area of expertise. He was one of the best in his class, and was picked up by his current employer. He quickly showed his capability and was soon promoted to a head role. He tends to his Sailor job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations he has.

History: Kilvar was born with his mother's beautiful face. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Tiefling companion (his 'brother'). He has set out to sabotage the competition.

Motivation: He loathes his own lifestyle; and to prove his worth to the world
