Her father was a mechanic, and taught her how to fix just about anything. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.

History: She was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. Ostracized due to the druidic powers of her oldest sister, she and her siblings struck out on their own. In the process these unassuming Gnomes became a terror of the countryside. She has achieved small success as a Bookbinder.

Motivation: Balancing her hectic life and new Bookbinder responsibilities is difficult; and wants to open a new tavern

Personality: He is business-like. He takes instructions and follows them to the letter. He has a habit of throwing himself into exceedingly dangerous situations.

History: He was born in the south, but his parents moved at a very young age to the east. Being born in the south, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the south for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way east. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his daughters to still be retired.

Motivation: Wants to raise his children well; and his relatives are trying to arrange a marriage
