History: He comes from a rich northern family. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He now mingles about in high society.

History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. He dropped out of school before completing his studies. Unlike his family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, he wanted to work in the city. He has been working here for the past few years.

History: Born to a poor family in the city she treasured whatever gifts she got. Since her father passed away years ago, her mother had doted on her, and she came to think her herself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by her attractiveness, a trait in which she easily excels the other women of her town. She was always very intelligent and has formed a secret society of specialists.

Motivation: Her name or reputation has been wronged in the past by dire rats, and she desires to right it.

She is the most sanctimonious self-righteous Human in existence. She is however nostalgic and wants to reunite with her old comrades. She has some compunction and patriotism and will work for the government before all other clients.

History: Born in the south to a Architect, Elysande learned a great deal about her mother's area of expertise. When Elysande reached her early adolescence her Human mother passed away. Feeling disconnected from the small nearby village afterwards, she decided to travel. Her rounds led her into the Army with a few individuals who would become her life-long companions.
