History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Oppleby was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. His childhood dream was to be a Gardener, but he was a colossal failure. He became a Marshal soon after.

Personality: While he is on the job, he is grim and serious. He understands how dangerous the world is and the need to stay safe. His brief stint in the army gave him the idea he was invincible and that he is the toughest man alive.

History: Trained by his mother for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. His parents enrolled him in a Bard school at a young age so that he could practice his psionic talents. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Motivation: He feels threatened by others; and he feels that his past leaves him morally obligated to help

Personality: She is witty, but her monotone delivery comes off as unnerving When she's not drinking or sleeping the drinks off, she's doing music.

History: Born in the east her family was never financially stable. She became part of the deadliest team of assassins in recent memory. A botched job caused the group to be disbanded. Recently she has begun working with bootleggers and crooks.

Motivation: She will attempt to ambush and attack anyone she thinks she can take on alone and try to knock them out with non-lethal damage. If successful, she will try to sell them to her slave-trader contact; and she possesses a valuable artifact that the thieves guild wishes to steal

Personality: He is business-like. He takes instructions and follows them to the letter. He is harsh and unforgiving.

History: Whurbin lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. He has chosen to use the inheritance that was left to him frivolously. He has been saving his money to try and buy his sister's freedom.

Motivation: Doesn't want to be a Healer and was forced into it by his family; and wants to raise his children well
