Personality: Matilda wants to be seen as a stoic, levelheaded, noble Paladin, so she tries to act the part. She does a good job, for the most part... She does not regard money as being a problem because it has never been a problem for her. She lives in a bit of an ivory tower believing all problems are one quick intervention away from being solved.

History: She was raised happily, as a normal child born to her father and mother. Her father taught her the rudiments of the Apothecary arts, while her mother instructed her in etiquette, music and courtly manner. When the war came and ruined her parents she was left adrift. She was a hard woman then and has only learned to fight more as time goes on. Unlike her family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, she wanted to work in the city. History: Born to a Servant, her father struggled to pay the bills. Her parents enrolled her in a Adept school at a young age so that she could practice her necromantic talents. She became a Carter soon after.

History: Born in the north to a Barrister, Peren learned a great deal about his father's area of expertise. In his 13th year, his parents were killed by a illithids raid, leaving Peren alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious western family, she was no stranger to responsibility. She was one of the best in her class, and was picked up by her current employer. She quickly showed her capability and was soon promoted to a head role. Days after completing her studies, news broke out that her hometown was attacked by drow.
