History: She is a Jackalwere in disguise. Her parents were killed by gnolls in a raid when she was still a young child. The gnolls captured her, and made her a slave and general play-thing. She was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to her deformed appearance. Lacking all sense, she decided to go on an adventure. She picked a direction and started trekking.

Motivation: Several ex partners dislike her way of doing things and want revenge; and many gnolls want her driven away

History: She was always a brilliant, if unscrupulous mind. She struck it rich when she found rare goods in large quantities. She routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

History: Volen hails from a village terrorized by drow. Her psionic abilities were realized during a raid on her village. After a long history of fighting, Volen and her spouse have recently divorced.

Motivation: A deep hatred of drow; and her name or reputation has been wronged in the past by drow, and she desires to right it
