The woman easily evaded and defeated her, leaving her to live broken and terrified. She eventually got the idea of being the protector of her homeland from reading books, and has made it her duty.

History: He was born at the edge of vast island. Through the years after Ratanák was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the north. Ratanák's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. After a long history of fighting, Ratanák and his spouse have recently divorced.

Motivation: He wants revenge against gnolls; and a deep hatred of gnolls

Personality: She does not believe in betrayal or weakness as things to be tolerated. She can see the true alignment of people by looking at them, and uses this to pass judgement.

History: Seraphina was raised in a hard working conservative environment. While she appears to be a normal Halfling, she's... not quite right. Perhaps she's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that she plain doesn't fit in. She has gone from town to town till she finds a spot where she can set up a sustainable business.

Motivation: She'd like to take her coworkers down a peg; and expand her business

Personality: She exudes charisma. She is a tour de force of persuasion. A friendly and beautiful Dragonborn, she is rarely seen without a few beauties around her arms. Though a playboy in all rights, she is no lame duck.

History: A child with a great deal of poetry talent her parents made sure she got the chance to thrive. From there she went from mercenary job to mercenary job. When she grew older, she became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. She began work as a mercenary for hire. She would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.

Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark.

History: Ahlyssa lived on a farm with her father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. She sought a place where she would be rewarded solely on the merits of her skills. This search led her directly into Marshal work with an outfit from a few towns over. Marshal work suited her well, and with each successful project, she earned more gold and more respect from her peers. She became a Marshal soon after.
