Her mother taught her the rudiments of the Spice Merchant arts, while her father instructed her in etiquette, music and courtly manner. Through the years after Sariel was born, her mother became increasingly distant from her family, instead choosing to pursue power in the north. Sariel's mother didn't care for her much, and the feeling was mutual. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.

Personality: Quiet and reserved he prefers to listen than to talk. He will nod occasionally and communicate nonverbally. He is fiercely devoted to his mother, and views his mother's ex-spouse as an evil person for separating him from his legal half-brother.

History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his mother. His mother disappeared, and while he tried to raise money to find his mother, he was betrayed dozens of times. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his daughters to still be retired.

History: She was a bastard born out of an affair, and her father always resented and mistreated her for it out of spite. She has had some formal dancing training, and achieved minor success. She was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching her a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of her brother.

History: Sold as a small child to a necromancer, Beloril was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. As a young adult he joined a group advocating for an improvement in Dwarven conditions. He got away from his former life and has fallen to alcoholism.

Motivation: He feels kind of lost in life.

Her face is feral with sharp distinguishing features. Her spectacle hidden eyes are a deep red.

Personality: She is irascible and easily irritated. She is however greedy and will demand payment and proof of collateral's value and will produce a merchant's scale to make sure she is not cheated out of a speck.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious western family, she was no stranger to responsibility. She was an apprentice working in her mother's forge. She has achieved small success as a Roofer.

Motivation: She has a rivalry with the Church that dominates her actions; and she is not mentally stable, and does not behave rationally
