Description: The man speaks with an almost imperceptible accent. He seems to always be the slightest bit damp as if he got out from a pool a few moments ago. Judging by the bloodshot nature of his eyes and the massive bags underneath them one would imagine he has not slept for days.

Personality: He is happy with his job as a Detective. He turns his eye from what people do, preferring to live and let live. He loves his children and doesn't want them to worry about him. He loves to share his writing with anyone who is interested.

History: The child of eastern immigrants he idolized his mother. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Detective. He has worked as a Detective like his mother before him.

Motivation: Balancing his hectic life and new Detective responsibilities is difficult; and to reunite with his absent mother

Personality: She loves telling others what to do and how they should feel about things. Around other people she will do her best to conceal her emotions and appear jolly.

History: Three was born the youngest of three triplets. Her mother worked until she suffered an accident while they were digging through a hill for a new route. She had to support her now crippled mother and took her mother's old job. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: Wants to raise her children well.

Personality: Always inclined to offer people food she seems plenty friendly. She is a bit of a xeno-phobe, disliking non-Gnomes.

History: She was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of her parents. A gypsy cursed her at a young age, leading to her ugly appearance. She eventually got the idea of being the protector of her homeland from reading books, and has made it her duty.

Motivation: She has passion for adventuring and risk; and meet up once more with her childhood friend

Personality: She tends to agree with only herself unless someone else's opinion sounds like she can profit from it. She tries to control her temper but she can't always stop herself from what she feels what must be done. She is skeptical of what others tell her and is slow to trust.

History: She was a bastard born out of an affair, and her father always resented and mistreated her for it out of spite. Brilliant and gifted she never wanted to apply herself. She spent several years traveling with her friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.
